AURORA |  Aurora Democratic Congressperson Jason Crow on Tuesday endorsed dozens of Democrats running for state and local offices across the state, saying he is expanding his efforts to support candidates ahead of the November election.

Crow said he is making $20,000 in direct contributions to endorsed campaigns. All told, the contributions linked to his plan total $100,000, according to Crow campaing officials.

His endorsements cover races for governor, attorney general, secretary of state, treasurer, the state Legislature and county offices.

The endorsements include Democratic gubernatorial nominee Phil Weiser, Attorney General candidate Jena Griswold, Secretary of State candidate Amanda Gonzalez and state Treasurer candidate Jeff Bridges. Crow also endorsed Melat Kiros, the Democratic nominee for Colorado’s 1st Congressional District, a Democratic Socialist.

“I’m all in to help Democrats win in November,” Crow said in the announcement. “To earn the trust of Coloradans, Democrats have to show up, listen, and fight for working people everywhere.”

Crow said his direct contributions are part of a broader six-figure effort to support Democrats in Colorado. His campaign said he is putting $50,000 into the Colorado Democratic Party’s coordinated grassroots organizing program, $20,000 into a grant initiative for 20 local Democratic parties and $10,000 directly into county Democratic parties.

Federal Election Commission records show Crow has $2,707,898.98 cash on hand as of Jun 30, 2026.

In 2024, Crow won the district with 59% of the vote against Republican John Fabricatore, who garnered 38.5% of the vote. The district has voted heavily Democratic across a variety of races.

Crow will face Republican Jason Ray Clark and Libertarian Patty McMahon in the General Election. Other unaffiliated candidates may also be on the ballot.

The “Colorado County Comeback” initiative, backed by Crow and the state Democratic Party, is intended to provide election-year grants to local Democratic parties for grassroots organizing.

Crow previously endorsed four Democrats seeking Republican-held U.S. House seats: Dwayne Romero in the 3rd Congressional District, Eileen Laubacher in the 4th CD, Jessica Killin in the 5th and Manny Rutinel in the 8th CD.

His latest endorsements include candidates for 12 state Senate seats and more than 20 state House seats, as well as county offices in Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, Chaffee, Eagle, El Paso, Garfield, Grand, Larimer and Pueblo counties.

Crow, who has for months garnered national media attention on a wide variety of issues, has campaigned with several Democratic candidates in recent weeks and has supported efforts to elect Democrats to the state House and Senate. He also has been involved in recruiting Democratic candidates nationally for competitive U.S. House races.

Crow, a former Army Ranger and paratrooper who served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, first won his Aurora-area congressional seat in 2018, defeating Republican incumbent Mike Coffman, who is now mayor of Aurora.

He has since worked to recruit candidates with military, national security and public service backgrounds through his Service First leadership fund, also garnering national media attention.

The breakdown of campaign contributions includes:

• $50,000 to the Colorado Democratic Party’s coordinated campaign to elect Democrats across the state
• $20,000 to the Colorado County Comeback, an election-year grant program for county parties in conjunction with the Colorado Democratic Party to help fund grassroots organizing efforts aimed at electing Democrats to county office
• $20,000 in direct contributions to endorsed candidates for state and local office
• $10,000 in direct contributions to local county parties
