LETTER: Reject corporate money and embrace local accountability by voting for Phil Weiser
EDITOR: I am writing to urge readers to make their vote count and support Phil Weiser in the primary on June 30. We need a governor with real experience at the state level.
My registered neighbors and I received a full color glossy large size postcard (a pricey thing) from the other candidate. Two cards in the same week. Both cards had a section of little tiny print that said “Paid for by Rocky Mountain Way, Registered Agent.”
So now we know what dark money looks like, and how corporate entities lobby voters without disclosing who they are or what self-interests they are promoting.
I don’t want my state governed by out of state money and unnamed corporate entities, thank you.

Phil Weiser is powered by local people making personal contributions that can be easily researched. That is accountability. That is what I want my next governor to be. And that is why I support Phil and urge others to do likewise.
