Rangeview High School held its Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony Sept. 21 and recognized several of its most impactful athletes, coaches and contributors.<\/p>\n

The 1985 boys basketball team was joined by individuals Barb Curtis, Danny Huet, Rikki Cartagena (Gonzales), Chuck Mills, Patrick Boyle, Tony Antolini and Stacey Schulties (Koralewski) at a weekend ceremony in the school\u2019s auditorium.<\/p>\n

The second team inducted into Rangeview Hall of Fame (after the 1994 girls soccer team) was the 1985 team that lost just one game and captured the Class 3A state championship. Coaching that team was Terry Taylor Sr. and included star Terry Taylor Jr. and both were part of Rangeview\u2019s initial Hall of Fame class.<\/p>\n

Among the other inductees were Cartagena (Gonzales), who excelled in cross country and was a multiple-time top-10 finisher at the Class 5A state meet and is the daughter of former football coach Dave Gonzales, who Rangeview inducted in the Class of 2022.<\/p>\n

Curtis was honored as a contributor, Antolini as a coach and athletic director and the late Mills as a coach.<\/p>\n

The Rangeview Athletics Hall of Fame committee consists of Antolini, Mike Hamilton, Shawn Palmer, Lisa Stone, Joe Burton, Adam Bird, Michael Boyle, Stephanie Walsh, Vic Strouse and Heidi Kelley.<\/p>\n
