Sitzmann received 5A All-State second team accolades from the Colorado High School Activities Association, while the All-State first team included Amina Pope, who accumulated just four fewer points with 63 on 31 goals and 32 assists.

Pope, a San Diego State signee, had a point in every game Regis Jesuit played.

The other CHSAA All-State first teamer for the Raiders came in the back in senior Lainey Phillips, who provided an experienced backbone to a stingy unit in front of senior goalie Rayn Parker, who kept the cleanest nets in town by far. Parker — who gave way to freshman Vivi Cowart in most games after starting — allowed just 6.9 goals per game and made 60 saves.

The All-Aurora defense of Phillips (a four-year varsity player) plus juniors Olivia Filippini and Brette Snapp combined for 92 groundballs — Phillips led the way with 38, Filippi had 34 and Snapp 20 — and they also forced 94 turnovers, which helped them get the ball to devastatingly quick and effective midfield.

Phillips and Snapp were All-5A South League first team picks, while Filippini was hailed with second team accolades.

The Regis Jesuit midfield was paced by junior Natalie Chilton, the team’s goal-scoring leader with a whopping 49, an 11-goal improvement from her sophomore season. She accounted for which helped her on the way to 60 points). She accounted for 13 goals in the postseason — including half of the Raiders’ total in the state championship game — and finished with 60 points to rank a close third behind Pope and Sitzmann.

Joining Chilton in the All-Aurora midfield is sophomore Jasmine Lugo, an elite multi-sport athlete who was Regis Jesuit’s second player to go over 40 goals as she notched 42 to go with 13 assists for 55 points. Also on the unit is sophomore Anna Hodges, who was crucial in the circle with a whopping 88 draw controls as part of an elite stat line to go with 33 goals, 12 assists and 31 groundballs. Chilton and Hodges made CHSAA’s All-State second team, while Lugo was honorable mention.

Eaglecrest was the only other of the area’s other three programs to account for more than 100 goals on the season (103 in total) and nearly half of those scores for coach Amanda Sehres’ team came from junior attacker Grace Gentert.

The All-Aurora attack gets a boost from Gentert, who played in all 14 games for the Raptors (2-12) and scored at least one goal in every one of those contests. Her area-best total of 51 goals got a boost from seven-goal outbursts against Denver North and Holy Family, while she also led locals with 50 groundballs secured.

The only non-Regis Jesuit member of the All-Aurora midfield is Grandview junior Brynn Goodwin, who accounted for nearly 60 percent of her team’s offensive output. Coach Alex Smith’s Wolves (2-13) got 36 goals from Goodwin, who netted four apiece in games against local opponents Eaglecrest (a Grandview win) and Cherokee Trail (a loss).

Goodwin also scooped up 43 groundballs, which earned her second team All-5A East League honors.

Second team: In a testament to depth in some positions, the All-Aurora second team includes two all-league first teamers in Eaglecrest sophomores Kendall Colglazier (attack) and Leah Park (defense), plus some very strong midfielders in Regis Jesuit sophomore Addison Kindy (36 goals, 19 assists, 43 groundballs) and Cherokee Trail junior Sophie Bieker (23 goals, 41 groundballs).

Read more Super PACs pour millions into Colorado races, raising campaign finance concerns

Read more How Brexit broke British politics

Read more Celtics guard Derrick White takes role as president of basketball strategy with alma mater, Colorado

The Regis Jesuit girls lacrosse team had the talent to bring home hardware — the Class 5A state runner-up trophy — and much of it appears on the 2026 Aurora Sentinel All-Aurora Girls Lacrosse Team.

[453
4496,2721,1476,4549,2722,2723,2726,4550,763,2728,2712,2713,2743,2730,2715,2731,2716,2733,2734,2736,621,2744
post-2793","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-girls-lacrosse","tag-2026-aurora-sentinel-all-aurora-girls-lacrosse-team","tag-addison-kindy","tag-alex-smith","tag-amanda-sehres","tag-amina-pope","tag-anna-hodges","tag-brette-snapp","tag-brynn-goodwin","tag-crysti-foote","tag-delaney-sitzmann","tag-eaglecrest-girls-lacrosse","tag-grace-gentert","tag-grandview-girls-lacrosse","tag-jasmine-lugo","tag-kendall-colglazier","tag-lainey-phillips","tag-leah-park","tag-natalie-chilton","tag-olivia-filippini","tag-rayn-parker","tag-regis-jesuit-girls-lacrosse","tag-sophie-bieker
<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.6 -
