{"id":2496,"date":"2026-06-17T21:33:13","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T21:33:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/denvermovingchronicle.com\/?p=2496"},"modified":"2026-06-17T21:33:13","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T21:33:13","slug":"sheriff-asking-public-to-help-find-missing-arapahoe-county-senior-with-medical-needs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/denvermovingchronicle.com\/?p=2496","title":{"rendered":"Sheriff asking public to help find missing Arapahoe County senior with medical needs"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><p><strong>AURORA<\/strong> | Arapahoe County Sheriff officials are asking for the public\u2019s help in finding a 63-year-old man who has been missing for five days and may be in danger because he has been without required medications.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin Bailey was last seen at about 2 p.m. June 12 at the front desk of Woodland Estates Senior Living Center, just east of Aurora, where he lives, according to sheriff\u2019s investigators.<\/p>\n<p>Bailey told an employee he planned to ride a bus and visit friends. Family members also reported that he said he was riding a bus and looking for work before his disappearance.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Investigators said they have developed information indicating Bailey was in the metro area on the evening of June 12, but his whereabouts since then remain unknown.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities said Bailey\u2019s cellphone is no longer active and that he does not have access to money or a debit card.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators expressed concern for Bailey\u2019s safety because he requires daily prescription medications and has not had access to them since June 11. Missing those medications could pose a serious risk to his health and have life-threatening consequences, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>Sheriff\u2019s officials clarified that, contrary to earlier reports, Bailey has not been diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer\u2019s disease.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities described Bailey as a Black man who is 6 feet tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes and is a U.S. Air Force veteran.<\/p>\n<p>He was last seen wearing either a black or dark blue sleeveless T-shirt, black pants or dark blue jeans, and black mule-style sandals.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said Bailey has no physical limitations, is fully verbal and is known to be friendly.
